I can supplement the very positive comments in this thread..............
The location is ideal both for exploring Amsterdam and transfers to/from AMS. The street market next door on Cuypstraat is also very good.
While there is no fitness centre onsite, they have an arrangement with a club down the block which is open 7 am - 10 pm.
I am surprised no one commented on the staff. I found the concierges were all exceptional.
