BAH are amazingly flexible, as our recent ANU TR shows!

  • 9 Apr 21 … your seats have been changed. A bit more than that, actually!! Our connecting JER-UK is now going to LHR instead of LGW, and no way we can meet MCT for an LGW-ANU departure. After a phone call, BA Holidays kindly move us on to the BA151 from LHR on 17 Jul, so JER-LHR-ANU in one hop. But that means an extra day over there. “Don’t worry,” says our wonderful Agent, “I’ve spoken to the back office and we will cover that extra cost.” Whaaaaat? Over £400-worth of AI accommodation? Thank You!

  • 17 Jun 21 … your BA151 to ANU on 17 Jul has been cancelled! Frantic call to BA Holidays again, trip rescheduled to start 31 Jul. But … [1] We still have to stay an extra day. [2] Our original room/Cottage category is not available, and we will have to upgrade. Answers …
    • [1] “No problem, your extra day is still covered by us.”
    • [2] After more back-office and trans-Atlantic calls, a revised contract with COCOS is agreed. “Accommodation is now an extra £720, but we will cover £300 of that.”
    • BA Holidays are simply awesome, and a Golden Ticket duly awarded to a VERY helpful [and pleased] Agent.
