I suppose Arcata/Eureka, like many small towns that are essentially highway stopovers, has mostly motels/inns and few real hotels. Choice seems to have more brands in that sector.

If staying there and not brand loyal, I would recommend the Hotel Arcata, which is in a historic building right on the town square.
