Yes you did.

The plane needs to be "thoroughly sanitized" (CAAC thinks) before cleaning crew can board to do their job.

There have been numerous COVID cases involving cleaning crew working on international flights arriving at Chinese airports. PVG, CAN, XMN, XIY etc.

China can't tolerate that.

Yep. Watch for higher fares to China. I mean outrageously high fares. e.g. $4,000 for one-way economy ticket to Shanghai.

There has been a sudden raise of COVID cases among pax arriving on international flights despite negative tests before they board the planes and green codes issued by PRC consulates. CAAC decided that tougher measures need to be taken.

In fact, PRC consulates around the world have repeatedly issued warnings that unless it's absolutely necessary and urgent, YOU SHOULD NOT TRAVEL to CHINA.

All 10-year visas for US citizens have been suspended since March 2020, for example.
