Spent a week at the Laylow. Great location. Easy walk to almost everything downtown (restaurants, shopping, beach). On check in offered 1000 points and choice of $15 toward breakfast daily or 750 points per day. Based on other experiences, this seems normal for an Autograph Collection property. Hotel is extremely clean and, like all of Hawaii, they take Covid seriously. Masks required indoors. Proof of vaccination required to get in restaurant (as is the case in all Hawaii restaurants). Breakfast is very good, order and pay at counter and food is brought to your table, usually by Chris. Rooms are large and well decorated and well maintained. Amenity basket in room on arrival with water bottles (refillable at water station on first floor), 2 bottles of water, rubber duck, chocolate, postcards, cookies and more. Prior to Covid there was a working water station on each floor and espresso machines on the upper floors. No business center. Front desk was very helpful in every way. ABC stores almost next door for snacks, baked goods, take out food (fresh fruit, sushi, poke, wraps, sandwiches, etc) and much more. Pool is small, but only once or twice did it seem crowded. Complimentary shaved ice from 1-2 PM daily. Very nice property with outstanding staff.
