They claim to submit your passport application and have your passport in hand the next day, but I don't see how they can possibly make good on this promise, given that the State Department itself says their "...new process will ensure third-party services cannot book appointments."
I also recommend taking a look at the Better Business Bureau pages for Rush My Passport.
Oh that's interesting...I don't see why that would be an issue from their point of view. Not everyone lives near a passport center or can do a walk-in appointment. As someone who has had their passport lost by USPS, I would rather someone walk it in. That is disappointing.
