If Uber messed up the balances and that resulted in overspending, are they even authorized to charge CC to make even?
Perhaps they will just let you run a negative Uber Cash balance and then immediately use up the Amex credits of 2022 until the balance is no longer negative.
Or if it requires manual work and just affects a small number of accounts, perhaps they will do nothing.
