Staying here now as a Diamond using FHR. Was excited for the staycation, since the room rate was sub-$200 and would have otherwise not used an Amex Platinum $200 FHR credit: didn't need parking, so ends up being a free night, free $100 towards dinner, and free breakfast.

Had another 2021 $200 credit to burn and was hoping to book this hotel again for another one night weekend stay, but it seems the combination of the low room rate plus FHR caught someone's attention so the hotel or Amex seems to be blacking out single night FHR reservations: any single night stay shows as unavailable through the Amex portal, while any stay of 2+ nights shows as available.

Definitely understand why they would want to do this, but still disappointed that it means a solid credit will go unredeemed this year.
