I have to go to KHI next year (Karachi). I see I can get there on Turkish airlines, but the United fares to go are just stupid (18k). Turkish is better (8k) but it doesnt earn full PQP. I am flying out of denver and going the last week of april. any suggestions how to route this flight? Should I just fly one of the gulf carriers?

EDIT: I meant to post this in the UA forum. But I have the same question for DL. Is there a routing on skyteam that gets me there? I just cannot find one for less than 20k.
