Oops! Just saw "inside the baggage claim area..." that's a real challenge, it seems to me, but there may be ways to get special permission. Also contact the airline as they may have personnel inside security (including wheelchair operators) who speak Portuguese and can help.
I am so dumb; thanks for the tip. I had searched in English without success for every possible word combination. I searched in Portuguese and Bingo! I got half-a-dozen results. Thanks again!
Also I didn't mean inside the baggage claim; I meant inside the arrival hall. My bad.
