We had a stay at the Seabird in November on FHR. Had great weather. Used the $125 property credit for dinner at Piper, which was spectacular. The cauliflower is like no cauliflower I've ever had. The Mary's chicken was outstanding. Got an $80 breakfast credit, also at Piper. Food was good but not at the dinner level. We got upgraded to some sort of large corner room that doesn't match any on the website - it appeared to be about the biggest non-suite room, and had pool and ocean views from the balcony, a couch, and double sinks in the bathroom. Parked across the street for $5/day as others have mentioned.
The hotel was quite nice overall, and we enjoyed things like the library and art displays. The biggest disappointment was the pool. There was loud music (at least it was good music) playing constantly from the official sound system, and there were a bunch of children and adults running. Staff did nothing to stop them. It's probably not the place for a quiet day by the pool.
