Having not seen the pre-renovated room I can only say that everything in the room was in great shape, saw a few wear marks here and there but not like has been described by other reviewers. The colors seemed lighter than throughout some of the other parts of the hotel. One employee asked us what floor we were on and when we said 14th he said "ah one of the renovated floors, those rooms are nice."
