If you were vaccinated in CA you will get a SMART card valid for the VTP through the department of health. No such luck for me, live in a state which does not issue SMART cards, provider who vaccinated me doesn't issue them either, ended up having to get a EUDCC from Switzerland to get VTP approval after being separated from family for 20+ months. Of course, it was all for nothing because VTL is now suspended until at least mid January. You don't know how lucky you are that you were vaccinated in a state that issues SMART cards.
