This, exactly. It's the failure to figure out that they need to compete that's weird. I'm happy with Hawaiian on the plane and with the ground staff where I mostly fly, the schedule works, and I really am not looking to switch even if Southwest does develop a more robust schedule, but I feel like a bit of a chump about it when Hawaiian management seems somewhere between indifferent and actively hostile to their elites.
