Comment: Recently stayed 2 (Sunday & Monday) nights at the Conrad. I booked the two nights separately through FHR (one was prepaid for the $200 AMEX Plat credit, the other I selected "pay at hotel" to use my AMEX Hilton Aspire $250 resort credit) When I arrived, they treated both reservations as two separate reservations, so I got the FHR benefits for the room each night. The first night (prepaid) was pre-upgraded (I received a message in the Hilton app saying we were upgraded to a King Bed Suite), but our second night was only upgraded to a Strip View room. When we arrived around 6pm, the check in line was super long, and there was no one at the Diamond check in desk. I wasn't sure if we were allowed to use the VIP check in counter, but my bf inquired and they said since they were available, they could check us in. We managed to get both nights upgraded to a Strip View King Suite (so we didn't have to check out/check back in again). The check in person kept emphasizing that, because we had two separate reservations, our credits were good for each stay. The sheet of paper they handed us said the breakfast credit was only for The Kitchen, but the $25 Diamond credit could be used at either The Kitchen or Suns out, Buns out. We were also able to get two glasses of sparking wine at the lobby bar each day. We used the $125 credit each night at the Famous Food food court, sampling a bit of everything. The sushi was good, everything else was a bit meh. The Kitchen credit could only be used for dine-in, so we used the $25 SOBO credit for breakfast instead (we were working from " home" (Vegas), so couldn't really spend time dining in for breakfast) each day. We took advantage of the late check out, and wasn't bothered by housekeeping at all.
The hotel room was super nice (we're not used to suites), we loved the Strip View at night, and the hotel gym (used by all three properties) was one of the nicest hotel gyms we've seen (had 6 Peloton bikes and 2 actual squat racks). The hotel has free parking, which was key for us, since we were in Death Valley for the weekend. They also had a Hertz desk in the Hilton lobby, so we were able to drop our car off there (Although, it was a bit confusing to figure that out). Upon check out, they confirmed that everything was taken care of with the credits except for the tip at the Lobby Bar (for the welcome drinks) and the resort fee. A few days later, the Aspire resort credit took care of the charges, but I noticed that the credits weren't fully applied for the first night. I did call the hotel and they said they were going to issue a credit, but I am still waiting for that to come in.
Overall, a great property/stay and perfect use of all the credits (Amex Plat $200, FHR benefits, Amex Aspire $250). I would assume because we had weekday stays that the upgrades were available, but I wouldn't hesitate to come back here again to use up the credits next year, especially as WFH continues to drag on. (Not complaining, though!!
