Ugh, my sympathy. I really do not understand what is wrong with the clowns responsible for the HA elite program. Not only is the published program completely uncompetitive, but they don't even reliably deliver what little they promise. I cannot understand why there is no sense of urgency to fix this sort of crap at a time when they really ought to be trying to hang onto their "loyal" interisland flyers.
I guess too many years of no competition. But with Southwest doing inter island they now have competition, though Southwest doesn't have anywhere near the frequency I need. And I never cared for Southwest, but that's beside the point.
