If you keep an eye on cruise covid news, a few more ships have reported positive cases on board. CDC's list shows 62/109 reported some level of Covid onboard within the past 7 days. 47/109 clear for now.

RCL Symphony of the Seas - 48 positives among
6,091 passengers and crew members. An interview later on in the page might be an anecdotal data point for higher risk cruisers who may need more medical care along with a prior sailing's cruiser who had symptoms and did not report to medical staff.

Might be a less predictable time to cruise which I know may matter to some. It also seems like not all of the RCL trips off boarded positive passengers (and keep positive crew in quarantine onboard) which may result in skipped ports as countries wait for more information about omicron and how to treat more severe cases since certain existing antivirals may not be as effective (or available).
