Avios expiration
Hi fellow members,
Today I checked the household account I managed. Last time I had actual redemption was Oct 2018. Points were deducted from each accounts under the household account. The last time I had transaction (point conversion) was June 2019. Points were added to my main account only. I attempted to make redemption in early 2020. For obvious reason, the flight was cancelled and all points were redeposited back to household account. I know that Avios has 36 months expiration policy. But somehow, points in my main account and other accounts are still there. Can anyone tell me whether the clock reset when the points were redeposited to my household account in early 2020? Also what is the cheapest way to spend Avios? My programs allow you to make a small donation but it seems not be the case for Avios.
