We're still deciding whether to rent a car for a March trip. I figure in the offseason, traffic won't be insane. Rates are reasonable....about 30 euros a day for a small SUV. Most lodging I'm seeing advertises free parking.

We haven't yet settled on staying in Oia vs Fira. Maybe leaning a little towards Oia.. There are four of us, so that sometimes makes piling into a single taxi challenging. We have no problem using city buses...if there's a good system that runs frequently.

We're there 3 nights....want to do some hiking and see the whole island. I've driven in countries with narrow roads and I've driven a stick my whole driving life, so I'm not worried about that.
