The eligible flight number range (or fare class purchased) changed over the 8 weeks from when you flew to when the miles would have posted? If that's really the case, AS should have record of that change and (at least in my experience with AS when there have been sudden program changes in the past - such as losing AA as a partner w/out notice), would likely be willing to credit you for the flights. My guess from others' experiences above w/ SilkAir is that the flight # range has been constant and that you may have misread the chart or incorrectly assumed it would count. Always a bummer, but good lesson to check before booking if earning on flights is a big factor in your travel!
