After flying hundreds of thousands of miles on NW and then not flying her at all, I am back on NW!

Could someone update me on the meals situation. I suppose I could call them someday.

1. Any knowledge about the 8:45 am MEM-SFO (NW269) flight? Food available? Free or extra cost?
2. I think that some medium length flights on NW now charge for meals but how about longer flights? I know that CO doesn't charge for meals on the few flights it serves meals.
