The club was packed between 3 and 5 PM with a full bar as well.
I have a feeling there will be a tremendous backlash from ROC--there are many business travelers there and mostly ALL of them said if they close the club they will go to Jet Blue or others....
So to George, Therese, Mena, Tom, Kristin, Phyllis and the rest of the crew, we wish you the best and hope we can do something for you......
Thanks for all you have done over the years.....
I agree--so sad to see people lose their jobs. I once had Club access for a few years and enjoyed the stay as i did ROC-LGA about 8 times a year or so. But w/ JetBlue and bigger seats (Im 6'5), the club just didnt do it for me, and those ugly Dash 8's sealed the deal. I've been flying jetBlue pretty much exclsuively since 2002. The competitive analysis of both products show the blatant differences between the two.
I know its rather off-topic but if US dedicated even a RJ to this route (LGA-ROC), they might be able to snag some more Jetblue poetntial fliers who were somwhat loyal to US....
