I have just sent a very nice thank you note to the Customer Service Executive in NY who helped me to reach such a quick and equitable resolution to my problem. I cannot express enough times to the posters on this board how much this experience with NY has left me feeling totally positive about BA. I cannot recall the last time I felt similarly about UAL, with whom I am a charter member of Premier Exec (circa 1980) (geez, I must have been about 3 years old!!!) Their bankruptcy has made it difficult to get upgrades, even using miles, due to the lack of available seats and the greater competition for them. I suspect only the 1k's are able to use the program as before.

Scott, in your experience since you seem to fly UAL alot, which I assume ia because you are located in ORD, can you compare the 2 business classes, and first classes, i.e., BA to UAL?
