I'm pretty new to this thread, and whether my 2 nights are extended or not really isn't an issue for me. What is puzzling is that it seems some are surprised that those with nights with end of year expiry would 1) want to see them extended, or 2) request points for them, whether by hook or by crook. If Hyatt could use covid as a reason or pretense, is there any rational reason why those of us with certs expiring shouldn't do the same?

Anyone with nights expiring hoping they would not be extended and wouldn't bother asking for points?
