The location isn’t great unless you’re going to the Superdome or happen to be an oil and gas lawyer. I took it because it was the cheapest in New Orleans metro at the time, It does have a nice modern look and is a lot better than many aging convention Hyatts. It’s not as dark as the pics upthread make it seem.
The photos immediately upthread were taken at night* so, given the lack of light in the atrium and the room at night, they are necessarily dark for that period of time. This also applies to many of my shots from 2012 posted much earlier upthread.
* except for the outdoor property shot which appears to be from early morning since sunlight is only partially illuminating around some south and east facing windows.
