JFK/LGA options could have been in play, but travel is for me (DM) + GM companion, which based on past experience is enough to not have coterminal options offered. If I were traveling alone and they were offered, it seems likely to me that a switch to a coterminal would have worked the same as switching to the same route in terms of the RUC treatment, but can't say for sure.
