$50 everywhere isn't bad at all, though it's more than some pet friendly hotels have been charging in the past. Wonder if there will be size/quantity/breed restrictions available to properties.
Was this a targeted email? I haven't received that email.
I have stayed with my dog a few times. The pet fee was always charged, but I think it was just a one-time thing. So if we were staying multiple nights (like when we moved 6 years ago and didn't yet have furniture in our new home), we stayed at a Homewood for about a week and just paid the fee once. We had a 2 bed/2bath suite, with plenty of space for her to run around inside.
I always found it to be a pain, that many Homewood properties allowed pets...but not all. We actually had some of the best treatment at a Hilton (Dallas/Southlake), where they had treats to give her whenever I brought her in or out.
