I flew the same flight on Dec 11 and am going through the process of trying to claim miles: did an online claim on Dec 18 and got an email this morning asking for copies of ticket confirmation and boarding passes.
I was trying to think of some way to say this is the best pushback against a denied claim. Maybe even the best way to initiate a claim. Always a good idea to retain copies.
Likely BA as the posting is a push from the operating carrier.
Which correctly states how the process happens. BA buys the points first and sends them over. Not like the AAgent can just put it on their tab.
