Self parking for the restaurant is a 3 minute walk away. It's across the road from Hyatt's time share property. A year ago you could park there free while staying at the hotel. That may or may not be possible now.
When the valet opened the car door upon our arrival I stated “we are not staying here but are having dinner at Japango”. The valet replied “enjoy your dinner”. Having been granted validated valet parking over a dozen times in past years it did not occur to me to interrogate anyone about charges or look for notices concerning non guest valet charges. My bad for assuming past experiences and policies carry forward after COVID. We are into our fourth of seven week stay and have experienced extra add ons and charges which I assume are an effort to mitigate damage done to tourist industry by COVID. I do not begrudge these charges but when possible I would prefer not to be blindsided. I shall increase my situational awareness.👁
