You start with the contact AA.com form online because it assigns a case number immediately and your elite status is also noted along with other customer information. It is frustrating because the first response seems as if it is from a computer bot or a person who is replying every 10 seconds. But when you reply to the frustrating email is where you can gain traction on what you want. It very may be a computer bot that replies the first time.
