It's really $26 (with the $1 new Metrocard fee), as I don't think there is a way add the 10-trip from the re-fill options. Still, $2.6/ride is much more reasonable than $7.75/ride.

So a couple doing RT from/to JFK save $4 even if they toss the ticket after use. I will try this next trip...
