So maybe I wasn't clear with my question but the conversation that has resulted is not about what I was asking, so let me try again.
Let's say that today, I booked a flight for sometime in August. I make zero changes to the itinerary on my end but then come March, there's a big schedule change and my flight gets cancelled, or moved from a morning departure to a late evening departure, or something like that. In this situation I'm entitled to a refund back to my credit card.
Now in my actual situation, I booked a flight for the end of this month at the end of last month. I can no longer take that flight. If I changed the flight from the end of this month to a different flight sometime in August, and then as in my hypothetical example situation there's a major schedule change, will I be entitled to a refund back to my credit card due to the major schedule change? Or will the fact that I originally made a change to the itinerary on my end mean that I'm stuck taking wallet funds despite Alaska's major schedule change?
