I too would request a FTV.
Based on my experience of trying to call the blue line, which you will need to do when you want to use your FTV to rebook, the best thing is to dial a minute before the call centre officially opens so that by the time you've gone through the menu you're pretty much first in line. That's what I did last month and I was through to an agent straight away.
