Not sure - the * you reference talks specifically about credits, etc. Their own bolded note says ANY, and doesn't exclude Basic. I know this changed for COVID and they made them EXCHANGEABLE but not REFUNDABLE (e.g. must be sone when booking a new flight, can't be taken as a credit).
