Many years ago on an AMS-JNB flight we were treated to a South African gourmet experience. This was back in the days when big clunky overhead screens showed whatever the airline wanted you to watch. In this instance KLM had decided that we wanted to watch a South African celebrity chef braai the fancy meal we would soon be served. Big mistake! When the meal arrived, it bore no resemblance at all to what we had just seen on the screen. Had they wanted to disappoint Pavlov's dogs, they could not have done better.
