That said, it pretty much sums up the Hyatt conundrum. There isn’t a single PH or Andaz currently in development in the US. I understand they are leaning on SLH… but a totally empty pipeline is wild. And yes, I understand why dozens of Hyatt Places and Hyatt Houses are in development from a corporate perspective. I’m talking about from a loyalty program burn perspective.

Once international travel normalizes further the Hyatt footprint makes more sense, but the current luxury footprint in North America is shockingly slim.
