Just left a 2-night stay on points. I asked by email prior to check in and was upgraded to a studio suite. The place was full last night and tonight so I appreciated the modest upgrade (otherwise we had been pre-uogtaded only to a city view king).
Hard product, bar, pool, breakfast were all excellent.
Yesterday the parking garage's elevator evidently broke so we couldn't get our car out. So the manager on duty called us (a few minutes after we had called for the car), apologized, and asked if we would be willing to take an uber (any kind of car) and save the receipts and the garage was going to pay for it. I said fine, we took black cars at $50 each way, no big deal. At check out they were confused by my inquiry about reimbursement for the ubers ("we already comped your valet"...), so they called a manager, and the manager asked if the garage had paid for the ubers. I was like, no I paid for them, but here are my receipts, you guys work it out. Thankfully the hassle ended there -- I had two bar tabs, one for $100 and one for $80 -- and the manager offered to comp both of them, which I accepted.
Left the room right at 4 and the lobby was a mad house, everyone was being offered $150 to sit in the lobby bar, and from the looks of it the lobby bar was already filling up with such people.
