Ah, the homeless thing doesn't really phase me, and I suppose that I only have to kill time until either the Cent lounge or Skyclub opens. So, head to T4 after a late NYC dinner is usually what I'd probably prefer--the exception would be the TWA hotel, but not at $500. I don't even care if it's business, it's the general principle of paying that much for an airport hotel. And, finally, I know my limitations, and the Fed Circle, after one experience, I will never do again, ever. I'd charter a limo from a nearby hotel to JFK before ever stepping foot onto Fed Circle again in my life.
We all have peculiarities, and that's just one of mine.
PS - If I had someone with me, I'd book the TWA regardless of cost. By, when I'm by myself, I'd feel too much like a chump doing so.
