I'm flying HNL-NRT-BKK with HNL-NRT on UA and NRT-BKK on ANA. The upgrade for NRT-BKK was waitlisted for a few weeks but never cleared by the time of check-in on HNL. I'm now on the flight to NRT. Per the website:

"Unconfirmed upgrades will be transferred to ANA or Lufthansa’s check-in system automatically."

Do you know if the transferring system is working correctly and I can see my status in the upgrade list? The UA check-in agent in HNL was clueless about whether my name was transferred and he had no ability to check. I have a couple of hours layover in NRT, so I guess I will check with them too.
