Howard Beach longterm lot note:
There are two entrances to the parking lot via Lefferts Blvd. (1) immediately after going under the Belt Parkway and (2) "the main entrance" adjacent to the ONLY exit.
If you enter via (2), unless you drive under the AirTrain, you can't get to the HB station--enen more "fun" in the early morning and late evening with no daylight.
The LT has NO signs directing pax to HB--in true NYNJ Path fashion.
When I (eventually found HB), the lot is sparsely populated, parking near the entrance is easy.
Since its a 2 minute ride from HB to LB station on the AT, there is little reason to park at LB.
The reason why HB has few parkers: NO ONE can find HB.
