The TWA hotel is great. But, to me, it’s overpriced. The HR is also VERY overpriced. But you’d be mad to pay cash prices of $300++ a night when you can use a Cat1-4 or 15k points. Using 15k points + either Uber/taxi or subway if I’m not super time constrained generally makes the HR my preferred choice when I *need* to stay JFK adjacent.

If I had a full ~24 hours then I’d do the Gild Hall for the same 15k but be in Manhattan. It’s a few blocks from Fulton St and an easy AirTrain & A train ride.
