when flying to india its a little hit & miss....some airlines will check the 72 hours timestamp & some will just check if the test was done within 3 days before the flight....
flying out of india they are very particular about the 72 hour rule....for usa its irrelevant since the rule is now 1 day but flying anywhere else from india requires you to have taken the test within 72 hours of your first flight....
it would definitely have been better had they used days instead of hours but then again this is the indian government we are talking about here....its against their nature to make things easy & less complicated....
