No need to be any of that, common sense outside credit cards and miles is also sufficient.
Singapore is just an example.
And, even 51% local ownership might not be an impossible aspect. Currently, CX is also not 100% owned by Swire. A (partial) public listing in Singapore might be enough.
A more serious issue for CX might be, that China does have a perfect political system, which may have loss of face issues to let CX (partially) move abroad to be able to run its business.
The more I think about this option, the more positive opportunities I see rising for CX.
It is clear for everybody, CX is not going to be happy with a 100% Hong Kong / China home-base.
