It's not universal though. I have never been able to earn any EB points on my OS flights and I'm certainly not flying on the cheapest tickets.

I suppose it all goes down to how much money does SK get from those airlines for crediting points to EB. With SK acting like an ULCC, I wouldn't be surprised if it was more than they budget for FFP points on their own flights.
