It has occurred to me that perhaps with the HKG flight being routed via BKK (where the MNL flight stopped), they pulled the MNL flight to make way. Not good for me tho.
AMS-MNL was once really direct and before COVID with a stop in Taipeh, it never went via HKG afaik. With COVID fancy new schedules with unusual stops have been designed, and some destinations dropped. Could well be MNL is off the menu right now.
