At least two of the animals have to be service animals. AS only allows ONE dog per cabin (non service that is). Also the restriction now for service animals are quite demanding. I have gone through it a couple of times. They now want copies of certificates, trainers name, location, on contact information, all kinds of papers stating you are responsible for the actions of your animal and what it does. This all goes to the FAA and some other federal branch I can't even remember. I now just travel with my dog and pay the fee as a non service animal. It weighs 10 pounds and fits easily under the seat in front of me. I book my flight well in advance if I am traveling with my dog and reserve space (again they only allow one) immediately for the dog.
