Question ICN as a Connection Airport in time of Covid

I am currently on a miles ticket from BKK to SFO via FRA. That of course is the long way around, but transiting Germany is at this point predictable and reliable.
I might be able to change to BKK to SFO via ICN on Asiana.
How much risk / overhead is there to transiting via Korea? I have not monitored the situation there.
The other alternative was via HKG but that seems to carry a long list of risk and reliability issues. Another may be via NRT / Japan.
