I'm flying international for the first time in a while with a mom with a bad back and an infant on my lap. I was hoping to snag the most comfy seats I can! We are actually going to AMS, with transit in lhr. It has the most convenient times. I was thinking of having our layover in the US to get a better plane, but it sounds like that's a bad idea and will lead to disappointment.
