in shorts, one of my diamond buddies(huge thanks to him) gifted me a diamond status today which bumped me up from gold to diamond even though I have 10 stays planned for the rest of the year to get there with my own terms. So the question came, does the gifted diamond last until 2023 March? or its 365 days from today, and then I get dropped down to gold until 2023 March(if I didn't make the requirement to keep diamond or gold)? and here is the what if

Today(2021 Dec 15th) I have a diamond(gifted) and was able to achieve the 10 stays(what i need to get diamond originally) before end of year does it just addon on after the 365 days gifted (Dec 15th 2022, assume that gifted membership are not part of the Hilton policy change) which it makes it 365(gifted) + 365(from the night/stay earned in 2021 year)
