From the access rules on AA, it's a bit unclear to me if the flight has to depart / arrive from the same airport:
You certainly present an interesting scenario. My reading of the rules and the T&C's agrees with the poster above me that the rules don't require the eligible flight from either departing or arriving from the airport of access. So in theory you should have access in SFO.
That being said, the lounge staff may have a different interpretation.
WOT, mostly for my own interest, I compared the AA rules to UA and UA specifically calls out that access is only at the O&D&C of UA/*A/Partner flights. AA has chosen either intentionally or not to create this ambiguity.
